booklovertwilight Follow As an autistic person, I don't much like tone indicators (e.g., /s, /j, /nm, etc) for a very simple reason. They just replicate my issue with in new medium. IRL, have to memorize tones and what they mean, then when hear words, need retroactively change think mean based on the tone. With these "tone indicators", do exact same thing. Memorize little weird acronyms, read acronym. Instead, can we actually SAY words sentence? So instead of: "hey will you dishes /nm write: "hey, not mad asking, dishes?"
